3rd and last installment of the “For Connoisseurs & Fly Kids” trilogy bringing the ‘Golden Era Hip Hop’ to today, reimagining heavy beats, lyrical dexterity, along with lush loops & chops. As brought to you by OXGN (pronounced Oxygen) aka Steve Austin & BAM, vets in the game showing you how it’s done.

Heavily ingrained within the ‘Pure Form’ of Hip Hop their style is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". The delivery and cadence of these two MC’s captivate with high-energy performances on track that transport audiences sonically.

Hailing from North West London they grew up in neighbouring postcodes and performed with different groups. BAM formerly a member of Scientists of Sound and Steve Austin who was a member of TWINS, Espionage Team & Uprock Recordings.

The death of a mutual friend brought these literal Titans together. Both worked with super Broken Beat and Boogie Producer Daz-I-Kue on a track called ‘I Can’t Breathe’ in 2020. This collaboration led to ‘For Connoisseurs and Fly Kids’, a three-part EP containing 8 tracks. All member have laid their talents to the production board, with addition of BAM’s super talented cousin ‘Quest’ rounded of the team.
